We welcome you to the new website specifically developed for the UK Hispano-Árabe(Há). Over the last year we have been working to trace the scattered horses that have either been breed here or imported since the breed was listed as critically at risk 30 years ago.

While we have tracked down a number of horses including a quantity that require entry to the State Stud Book; we do need to compile a full census of exactly what horses are actually out there and more specifically what representation they require from us and what services their owners need from UEGHá in Spain.

With respect to any partbreds
(Nb. some partbreds may in fact be Pura Raza Hispano-Árabe and eligible for re-assessment and entry to the Main Registry) and Anglo Hispano-Árabe /Tres sangres we need to steadily form a census for the validation of these horses with DEFRA.

On the
Registration page you will find a link to the company application form which can be printed off for members to register and provide data returns on their Hispano-Árabe stock to be added to the various registry lists. Photographs can be forwarded (and updated as required) by email for inclusion on the data page for that horse.

Negotiation Status with UEGHá
Provision of a full census of our horses and their needs is important in order for Spain to plan any visit to evaluate our horses in 2011. There are a number of horses born since 2006 that need inscription onto the State Registry and some coming of age for grading. There are some horses that have in the past been wrongly registered and for which we are seeking an amnesty/reconsideration for inclusion to the main registry or at the least entry to Spains Auxilliary Registry.
